Well, as I see it, we have one clear choice. If you look at the proposed locations on the map, the location in the Springfield Shopping Center is head and shoulders above the rest.
The main reason for this is that we can attract different groups of people. Springfield University is just a 5-minute walk from there, so it’s not surprising that many of the shoppers who visit the shopping center are aged 18 to 24. Also, it’s right next to a residential area. So what will all of these shoppers see as they walk through the shopping center? That's right. Our stall. We'll be there, waiting to accept their donations.
Also, I'm sure that there will be a number of opportunities for us to create joint promotions with the shops in the shopping center that support our cause. We may even be able to advertise in their shop windows.
Another reason to select the location in the Springfield Shopping Center is its proximity to Central Station. It is estimated that thousands of commuters pass through the station every day. Some of them have jobs in the area and will likely walk by our shop in the shopping center on their way to and from work. Even if just a few of those busy people decide to stop by our stall, we should have plenty of interest.
There you have it. Customers in the morning, afternoon and evening. I think the Springfield Shopping Center is the perfect site for the stall’s location. What more could you ask for?

【解答のポイント】: 「募金集めにふさわしい場所」と「理由2つ」を必ず入れて解答するようにします。どこを選ぶかは、得点に影響しません。この問題の場合は、理由が2つ言えればどの場所を選択しても構わないということです。 Sample Answerでは、場所の選択を①のSpringfield Shopping Center にしています。理由として、Springfield Universityに近いので18から24歳の人が多く来る、住宅街に近く、いろいろな人に気づいてもらえると言っています。続けて、Shopping Centerのなかにあるお店との joint promotionsの可能性がある、Central Stationに近いので朝晩に立ち寄ってもらえる可能性があると述べています。他の問題と違って、何を話すべきかを自分で作り出すことができます。
また、論理的に説明するために、論理の流れを示すつなぎ語「First」「Secondly」「Also」「Another reason」「Therefore」などを入れられるように練習して、メリハリのあるプレゼンテーションを組み立てられるようにしましょう。
【学習・対策のアドバイス】: 解答者がどのように解答するかの自由度が大きくなり、解答方法によって得点に差が出ます。そのため事前にしっかりと結論まで何を話すか詰めておく必要があります。また流暢さも得点の一部になりますが、ネイティブスピーカーが言いよどんだときに使うような「well …」「say …」などの言葉を使用して、言いよどんでも流暢さのポイントに影響はありません（つまりネイティブスピーカーと同じような言いよどみは、得点に影響しないということです）。言葉に詰まった場合には、それらの言葉をうまく使って切り抜けましょう。
